Thought waiting in lines two days before Easter might be a mess, so we took our own picture at home, and it is a lot cheaper. She is such an alert baby for almost being 6 weeks old.

Makayla turned one month this past Wednesday. It’s hard to believe how time flies. She is doing well, for the most part, at nights. 
Some nights she can go up to 6 hours between feedings. Like all newborns she has her good days and bad days. Lately she thoroughly enjoys it when I change her to then decide to go poop in her nice clean diaper. Oh Yes! And she loves spitting up all over me. The other day my shorts were soaked and she hardly got any on her. Oh the joys of babies.

Josh you are the most caring, loving person. I love you with all my heart. My prayer is Makayla will find a husband like you. I love seeing you with Makayla. You just want to be with her as much as you can to show her your love. She is one lucky girl to have you as a dad.
It is hard to believe that she is finally here. All that waiting for such a precious gift from God is so worth it. People who say there is no God really don’t know what they are talking about when they see a miracle like this.
Makayla will be a week old tonight at 9:45pm. She is doing great and sleeping great.
We love spending every moment with her. Yesterday we gave her first bath, and she really didn’t even scream until we took her out and she got really cold.

Welcome Makayla Grace Kerr! Born March 1, 2009 at 2145 weighing in at 7lbs 8oz and 19inches long. Stephanie and Makayla are doing fine and should hopefully be released on the 3rd. More to come!
