Dear Jesus,
Thank you for allowing Grandma B to be a part of our family. She was the best neighbor to us in our rent house and became one of our own over 14 years ago. She was a great neighbor because of all the love and of course yummy stuff like carrot cake and honeybars. I am sure she is in heaven wanting to make you some of her famous honeybars. I will never forget her loving and caring personality. She became a Grandma to us. I will never forget all the fun times we had..her making a mess with those chili burgers from Jims, Junior Whataburger meals, Schlotzskys, birthday cakes for my brother and me (half what he liked and half what I liked), honeybars, carrot cakes. Rudy’s Chopped Brisket Sandwich with the extra spicy sauce (Grandma seemed to have the best stomach for her age that could handle all that spicy stuff) and most of all the love she showed us. She was a remarkable woman who touched many lives young and old. She was for sure she wouldn’t be able to meet Makayla, but thankfully she was able to watch Makayla grow during these 7 months. She would give anyone the clothes of her back, but of course You know all this because You created her.
Watching her struggle over the past months has been rough, and we just prayed that you would take her peacefully. You answered our prayers. Even though it is rough to say Good-bye to her, I know you are giving her the best welcoming party anyone could give her.
Give her and my Grandma a big hug from us, and tell them we love them and miss them greatly. However, I know living up there is a LOT more peaceful and fun. I can’t wait to see their “mansion” you created for them.
